We hope your new year is off to a great start. January is a good time to think about how you can make 2020 a great year for your business.

Over the past several months, we’ve been busy finding ways to help you run your business even more efficiently. Let’s take a look at some of the new ways Invoice2go can help you improve your cash flow in 2020.

3 new ways to get paid faster

The more options you can give your customers to pay, the faster you’ll get paid. That’s why we make convenient payment options a priority.

Charge a card – Take payments from your clients in person by keying in their debit or credit card details directly into the app.

It’s simple:

  1. Go to invoice
  2. Select “Payment” in the blue menu bar
  3. “Charge a card” is presented as first option
  4. Enter your client’s details  (See screenshot above)

Currently available to users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and the United States.

Tips (gratuity) – Currently, we’re working on giving your clients the ability to tip you when they pay online with a credit/debit card, direct transfers or PayPal. They’ll be able to select a quick tip or add a custom tip to their payment. We tested this feature with success last year, saw an average tip of 17%, and are planning rollout starting in the US. If you’re interested in the tips feature, please contact us at https://support.2go.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Direct transfer – Great news! You can now offer your clients the option of ACH bank-to-bank transfers to pay your invoices. With this method, payers with account payable systems can make payments directly as well. Instead of trying to reconcile your invoices by going through your bank statements one by one, payments are automatically matched to invoices and marked as paid, saving you hours a week. With transaction fees capped at $15 regardless of the payment amount, direct transfers are great for big invoices. Available to customers in the US.

Helping you grow

Business loans – Our partnership with Square Capital* offers eligible Invoice2go customers a fast, seamless way to access the funding you need to grow your business – from right inside your Invoice2go mobile app. Buy inventory or supplies, or invest in anything your business needs. Choose the loan amount that fits your business.

If approved, your funds are deposited as soon as the next business day. You pay just one flat fee over the life of the loan, when payments are made on time. Currently available in the US. New year, new look

If you’re thinking Invoice2go looks a bit different these days, you’re right.

Late last year we launched our new logo – updated to be more modern and instantly recognizable everywhere we go. Invoice2go as a product and a company has really evolved, so we thought it was time to do the same with our brand identity. You may also notice a lighter, brighter and more colorful palette in the app and on our website.

Onward and upward in 2020

If you felt a bit of a pinch in your business last year and your sales were down compared to 2018, you’re not alone. Studies we did last year to see how small businesses were doing in the US and Australia showed a decline in dollar amounts Invoice2go customers were invoicing, particularly in Australia for the financial year. Yet, there were also bright spots of growth. See how your business compared:

Australia – https://www.mybusiness.com.au/sales/6266-small-businesses-made-7-less-in-fy19

In times like these, Invoice2go helps you stay organized and on top of your business. Invoice2go will continue to be there for you, helping you get the job done. After all, our new company mission is to simplify the lives of small business owners around the world so they can focus on what matters most.

We wish you a prosperous and happy, healthy 2020, and appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Happy invoicing!
